Periwinkles For Her
"It's all about the ACCESSORIES!" ...An upscale women's accessory store added a third location in a fashion oriented outdoor shopping mall. The project called for elegant but durable materials to withstand retail use, with a sophisticated look to suit the target market and branding of the store. Plush carpeting, porcelain tile, pearlescent vinyl wallcovering, and a touch of periwinkle colored paint were used to accent the wood and iron store fixtures along with the custom wood millwork for the wall display and sales counter. The style of accent lighting was selected to complement the organic scrollwork of the iron pattern on the glass entry doors and on the retail fixtures. The feature wall of the store, a lightly frosted glass wall intended to showcase the premiere product, presented the store logo etched out of the center of the glass to reveal the illuminated periwinkle-colored wall peeking out from behind.
